Clean the Area Behind Your Fridge

If you have the time, consider cleaning out the area behind your fridge. This area traps all kinds of food, dust, and gunk, and it can become a haven for insects too.

“[It’s] an arduous task and usually takes two household members to do because of the heavy fridge, but it’s well worth it,” says Gomasi. “It’s just a matter of moving your fridge and using a couple of microfiber cloths, a strong degreaser, and multipurpose spray to clean the grime, gunk, and dead insects.”
