It is believed that solar and lunar eclipses can profoundly impact health, and numerous mythological stories are associated with them. In the year 2025, there will be two solar eclipses and two lunar eclipses.

Bhopal-based astrologer and Vastu consultant Pandit Hitendra Kumar Sharma reveals when these astrological events will occur, along with the details of the Sutak period.

First Solar Eclipse of 2025

The first solar eclipse will occur on March 29 and will be visible in regions such as Bermuda, Barbados, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Germany, France, Hungary, Ireland, Morocco, Greenland, eastern Canada, northern Brazil, Holland, Portugal, northern Russia, Spain, Sweden, Poland, Ukraine, Switzerland, England, and eastern America.

However, this eclipse will not be visible in India, which means it will have no effect here, and the Sutak period will not be observed.

Second Solar Eclipse of 2025

The second solar eclipse of the year will take place on September 21 and will only be visible in New Zealand, Fiji, Antarctica, and Australia. Similar to the first solar eclipse, this event will not be visible in India, and there will be no impact or observation of the Sutak period.

First Lunar Eclipse of 2025

The first lunar eclipse of 2025 will occur on March 14. This eclipse will be visible in Australia, Europe, Africa, America, and Antarctica. Since it will not be visible in India, it will have no effect here, and the Sutak period will not apply.

Second Lunar Eclipse of 2025

The second and final lunar eclipse of 2025 will occur on September 7. Unlike the other eclipses, this one will be visible in India. The eclipse will begin at 9:55 pm and last until 1:30 am on September 8. Consequently, the Sutak period will commence nine hours prior to the eclipse. Apart from India, this eclipse will also be visible in Australia, Europe, New Zealand, America, and Africa.
