When Ben Affleck isn’t busy starring in a new project or directing a movie of his own, the actor loves spending time with his children. Affleck was recently spotted with his and Jennifer Garner‘s second child, Seraphina, enjoying a fun day together at the aquarium.

Ben and the 16-year-old were seen at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, California—in photos from their outing, the two were seen checking out various exhibits. The pair kept their attire equally casual, with the actor donning an all-beige outfit and dark sunglasses, while the teenager tossed a colorful windbreaker jacket over a Bob Marley T-shirt and baggy green pants styled with black-and-white Adidas sneakers.

The 52-year-old rarely speaks about his children, but in 2023, Affleck opened up about what it has been like to see Seraphina, as well as his and Garner’s other two children, Violet and Samuel Affleck, grow throughout the years. He can’t pick a favorite parenting moment, however, saying that “there’s so many things, the birth of my children, all the things that I’ve done with my kids. It’s just the joy of life, it’s the heart of life,” during an episode of The Drew Barrymore Show

“These beautiful children who are innocent and loving and want to sit on your lap and hold you, and then they turn into, ‘You can close the door,’ like, ‘Oh so you don’t want to play Chutes and Ladders, I can just go?’ ” he continued. “It’s the gift of life all those moments and I’m beginning to see now how they are fleeting but now I treasure all these little moments.”

Violet is busy being a student at Yale University, but Ben has had some quality time with his youngest, Samuel, who has accompanied his dad to basketball games. The actor revealed during his Drew Barrymore Show appearance that he “showed Good Will Hunting to my middle child [Seraphina]…that was one of the best experiences of my life.”
