I Use This Martha Cookware Set to Make Every Meal—and It’s on Major Sale Right Now

As an editor for Martha Stewart, it should come as no surprise that my home is filled with her products. My kitchen hutch is well-stocked with her cookbooks, her stainless steel knife set is my go-to for slicing and dicing, and her Halloween witch boots (which I won in an eBay bidding war) sit proudly on my entryway table every fall.

So, when I was in the market for new pots and pans last year, choosing a set from Martha was a no-brainer. The hard part was deciding which set to purchase. Martha has a wide variety of high-quality cookware to choose from on her Amazon storefront, from stainless steel and cast iron to non-stick and ceramic.

I knew I wanted something easy to cook with and clean. I already have a reliable cast iron pan, and I find stainless steel cookware intimidating (I haven’t achieved Martha-level chef status just yet), so I opted for the Martha Stewart 10-Piece Aluminum Ceramic Non-Stick Cookware Set. I purchased the entire set for $180, but it’s currently on sale for $126.

What Does the Set Come With?

The set has everything you need to make a delicious meal. It includes two saucepans with lids, two frying pans, one sauté pan and lid, and one Dutch oven and lid. Every piece in the set contains a non-toxic, PFA- and PTFE-free ceramic non-stick coating.

The collection is safe to use on gas, electric, ceramic, and halogen stovetops. The pots and pans are oven safe up to 480 degrees Fahrenheit, and the glass lids are safe up to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

It’s available in linen and black, but I opted for the linen shade to match my linen-hued knife set. The gold handles lend an elevated accent to any kitchen, so you can keep the cookware on display and not tucked away in a cabinet.

The Cooking and Cleanup

My absolute favorite part about this cookware set is how easy it is to use. No matter what I’ve cooked on it (be it a Valentine’s Day filet mignon or a weeknight carbonara with homemade spaghetti), ingredients glide across the buttery pots and pans without sticking or resistance. Plus, the heavy gauge aluminum evenly distributes heat, so all your meals are cooked evenly without hot or cool spots. (Perfect for reheating leftovers!)

The easy cooking also lends itself to easy cleanup. A rinse with warm, soapy water and the pots and pans glisten like the day I unpacked them from the box. Note: If you choose the linen hue, be sure to pay close attention to the bottom of the cookware when cleaning to remove any dark marks left behind from the heat of your stovetop. The cookware is designed to withstand stains, so any blemishes are extremely easy to wipe away.

The Storage

The beauty of this elegant set of cookware is that it looks stunning kept on display in any kitchen. If you have the space, I recommend hanging the pots and pans above a kitchen island like Martha does with her copper cookware collection.

However, if you have a small kitchen like I do, the pots and pans nestle conveniently into one another, so they’re easy to stack and store in a cabinet. If you do choose to nestle them, I suggest using fabric dividers or separating the cookware with cloth so the non-stick coating doesn’t get scratched.

The Takeaway

The Martha Stewart Lockton 10-Piece Enameled Aluminum Non-Stick Cookware Set is a beautiful collection ideal for novice and experienced home cooks. It’s easy to use and clean, making cooking an easier and more enjoyable experience. Plus, the price point is unbeatable for how luxe and high quality the set is.

For another budget-friendly option, the Martha Stewart 10-Piece Aluminum Non-Stick Cookware Set is also on sale right now. It’s marked down from $170 to $80 on Amazon. This set features a PFOA-free, triple-layer platinum non-stick coating, rather than the ceramic interior the set I purchased has. It includes two saucepans with lids, two frying pans, one sauté pan and lid, and one Dutch oven and lid.
