Blake Lively expresses gratitude at SXSW for support amid Justin Baldoni legal drama
Blake Lively is thankful to her fans.
The actress recently stepped out for the SXSW premiere of Another Simple Favor and took a moment to thank fans for their overwhelming support—despite the ongoing legal drama surrounding her and Justin Baldoni.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Lively shared a series of snaps from the star-studded event, including moments with co-stars Anna Kendrick and Michele Morrone.
“Watching @asimplefavor opening night @sxsw felt like a rock concert,” she wrote in the caption. “Thank you to the very best audience. Texas turns it out.”
Lively, 37, continued, “Making this movie was already the gift, every element of it. To share it with you all and feel the love returned to us was the best feeling. Thank you for having us Austin.”
Despite the legal battle brewing behind the scenes, eyewitnesses at the event noted that the Gossip Girl alum looked unbothered as she graced the red carpet at Austin’s Paramount Theatre on Friday night.
She turned heads in a striking pink latex gown by Renée Masoomian, with her signature blonde locks styled in a chic half-up look.
Fans inside the theater got a special treat as Lively was seen taking selfies with them before settling into her seat next to Morrone.
Her appearance comes amid her ongoing lawsuit against Baldoni, whom she accused of sexual harassment while filming their 2024 drama It Ends With Us. She has also claimed that Baldoni launched a smear campaign against her in an attempt to ruin her career.
Baldoni, for his part, has denied all allegations and fired back with a $400 million defamation lawsuit against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds.
In an effort to clear his name, the Jane the Virgin star has even launched a website featuring alleged text messages between himself and Lively.
With both lawsuits set to play out in court in March 2026, the legal battle is far from over—but for now, Lively seems happy soaking in the SXSW love.
