Rambo wells up over memories of late sister | The Express Tribune
Veteran actor Rambo, known for his humour and infectious energy, revealed a heartbreaking side of himself on Javeria Saud’s Ramazan transmission on Saturday. The actor, who has been a notable personality in the television and film industry for over three decades, could not hold back his tears when Saud asked him the show’s introductory question, “What was Ramazan like for you as a child?”
Rambo shared that he lost his youngest sister recently, a loss that has left a void in his life. “I am the oldest. My youngest sister passed away,” he said, struggling to control his emotions.
He recalled the bond they shared, especially during Ramazan. “When we were younger, we would all sit huddled up with my mother,” he said, reminiscing about their close-knit family. But as life progressed, things changed. “Then we all got married and moved away. But one of us went too far away,” he added with deep sorrow.
The actor, usually known for his cheerful personality, expressed how difficult it has been for him to accept that she is no longer around. “We miss her a lot,” he shared, his voice breaking.
As if one loss wasn’t enough, Rambo opened up about another emotional wound. “I haven’t been able to meet the second one (sister) because her husband is of an odd nature,” he revealed.
Saud, moved by Rambo’s emotions, took the moment to remind viewers about the importance of valuing their parents and siblings. “If your parents and siblings are around, please cherish them. Spend time with them. I haven’t been able to see my mother in a while because life moves so fast, and there never seems to be enough time, but the void of her absence stays with me,” she expressed.
