Eggs Are Being Recalled in Canada Right Now Due to Salmonella Contamination



There is an active recall on multiple brands of eggs sold across Canada, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). This is due to a possible Salmonella contamination.

If your eggs match one of the above recalled products, dispose of them immediately or return to your place of purchase for a refund. While there are no illnesses connected to this recall, Salmonella infection (salmonellosis) can cause symptoms like diarrhea, stomach cramps, headache, nausea, vomiting and loss of appetite. These symptoms can last for up to 7 days and can be more severe for those who are age 65 or older, immunocompromised, young children or for pregnant people.
