Eggs Are Being Recalled in Canada Right Now Due to Salmonella Contamination
There is an active recall on multiple brands of eggs sold across Canada, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). This is due to a possible Salmonella contamination.
The recalled eggs were sold at retail locations in British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario and potentially other provinces and territories. The following is a table of the eggs impacted by this recall, including brands, sizes, UPC and other printed information on the affected products:

If your eggs match one of the above recalled products, dispose of them immediately or return to your place of purchase for a refund. While there are no illnesses connected to this recall, Salmonella infection (salmonellosis) can cause symptoms like diarrhea, stomach cramps, headache, nausea, vomiting and loss of appetite. These symptoms can last for up to 7 days and can be more severe for those who are age 65 or older, immunocompromised, young children or for pregnant people.
