
Barbara Bush Joined Jenna Bush Hager To Guest Host on ‘Jenna & Friends’
Jenna Bush Hager and Barbara Pierce Bush both grew up in the public eye with their White House childhood, and now, the sisters are tackling motherhood and their careers together. During a joint interview with People published on March 25, Barbara revealed that she was joining her twin to guest host on Jenna & Friends.
Barbara, who is the vice president of social impact for the NBA, took off work on March 24 and March 25 to join her sister for co-hosting the Today show segment. While People notes that this was something “she wore she’d never do,” Jenna pointed out that the sisters have been prepping for their TV appearances since the very beginning.

“This is easy. We’ve been practicing for this since our childhood,” she joked. “We had a talk show called Barbara & Jenna & Friends in the womb.”
Barbara had fond memories of their childhood Jenna & Friends precursor, responding, “It was a hit.” However, she emphasized that fans who hope that the Flies on Cupid actress makes it a permanent gig will be disappointed,

“I’m going to keep the seat warm for two days, and then I’m going to return to my cave,” she added.
Since Jenna’s former co-host Hoda Kotb retired in January after a 26-year career at Today, the journalist has hosted a number of guest co-hosts including Scarlett Johansson, Eva Longoria, Keke Palmer, and Taraji P. Henson.

Jenna will be making this week a family affair on Jenna & Friends, as she’ll also be sharing hosting duties with her cousins Wendy Stapleton and Sam Bush LeBlond on March 26, as well as her husband Henry Hager on March 27 and March 28.
