BEL shares dropped 6 percent after reporting lower-than-expected order inflow for FY25. Despite this, BEL’s revenue grew 16 percent, reaching Rs 23000 crore. The stock was trading at Rs 280.45.

Bharat Electronics announces 150% interim dividend for FY2024-25.

BEL Share Price: Shares of BEL (Bharat Electronics Limited) slid 6 per cent during the intraday on Wednesday. The drop came after the defence PSU reported its order inflow for FY25 at Rs 18715 crore which is lower than estimation of Rs 25,000 crore. However, BEL’s revenue growth for the year crossed its own projections for the financial year 2024-25.

The scrip was trading at Rs 280.45 apiece with a fall of -4.00 per cent at noon. It opened at Rs 290 apiece against the previous day close at Rs 292.15, hitting the day’s lowest at Rs 274.50 apiece.

BEL has a market cap of Rs 2.04 lakh crore, making it a constituent of BSE 100.

In the filing on April 01, BEL reported that it has achieved a turnover of around Rs 23000 crore (provisional & unaudited), during the financial year 2024-25, against the previous year’s turnover of Rs 19,820 crore registering a growth of 16 per cent. This includes Export sales of around US$106 million during FY2024-25, as against the previous year’s export turnover of US$ 92.98 million, registering a growth of 14 per cent.

In the fiscal year 2024-25, BEL secured orders worth Rs.18715 Cr. Some of the major orders received during the year are BMP IIUpgrade, Ashwini Radar,Software

Defined Radios, Data link, Multi-Function Radars, EON 51, Seekers, Anti drone system, Airport Surveillance Radar, Sonar Upgradation, Flycatcher spares, Radar

upgradation, Spares and Services etc and other projects in Non-defence sector. With this, the total Order book of BEL as on April 1st, 2025, stands at around Rs.71650 Cr including Export Order Book of USD 359 Million.

BEL Interim Dividend 2025 Payment Date

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) On March 05 declared an interim dividend of Rs 1.50 per share (150%) for the financial year 2024-25.

BEL fixed Tuesday, March 11, 2025 as the record date to determine the eligibility of the shareholders for the 150% payout.

In the previous financial year 2023-24, BEL declared two interim dividends of Rs 0.70 each. The company also declared a final dividend of Rs 0.80 per share last year for FY24.
