Sobhita Dhulipala recently got candid about her beauty and makeup secrets. She revealed that she swears by traditional beauty practices.

Sobhita Dhulipala is one of those few celebrities who does not shy away from experimenting with fashion or makeup. The actor often experiments with her looks and leaves the fashion police talking. In a recent interview, the actor spilled the beans on her beauty secrets and her self-care rituals.

In a conversation with Vogue Beautyscope, Sobhita Dhulipala got candid about all things beauty and makeup. She talked about how her idea of beauty has evolved. She mentioned that initially she viewed beauty as an idea of ‘wanting to look nice’, but over time it has evolved to a ‘grounds for play.’ She mentioned that having fun and enjoying the process forms the crux for her.

Sobhita talked about how she continues to follow traditional beauty practices. She spoke about how she swears by oiling and massaging her hair. She said, “I used to get really bad migraines, but it really helped calm me down.” In the same interview, she mentioned that she makes a mix of coconut oil with water, puts it in a spray bottle and uses it to set her hair and tame the unruly frizz. Talking about traditional beauty practices, she mentioned how she uses ghee to hydrate her lips. She also mentioned that she uses coconut oil to treat rashes and dryness.

Coming to makeup, she revealed that a lip balm, liner and kajal are three beauty products that she cannot live without. She mentioned that while she is not a fan of soap brows, blush draping, or overlining her lips, she is currently into blue makeup — be it mascara or eyeshadow, or even glitter lips.

Sobhita mentioned that she is currently a fan of funky shaped pimple patches and she is keen to try some of them. She talked about her favourite beauty icons and mentioned that she looks up to Rekha, who has always been consistent with her signature style and glam.
