CDSL Share Price: Shares of CDSL [Central Depository Services (India) Limited] jumped 5 per cent during the intraday on Friday. The scrip was trading at Rs 1,252.90 a piece around 11:00 AM, against the day’s opening at Rs 1,187.70 apiece and the previous day close at Rs 1,206.40 apiece.
A total of 59 lakh equities have exchanged hands so far with a total value of Rs 736 crore.
Despite a 13 per cent surge in the price, CDSL stocks are trading -30 per cent down on a YTD (Year-To-Date) basis in 2025.
CDSL is part of Nifty 500 index with a market cap as of March 28 is Rs 26,183 crore.
Central Depository Services Ltd. is an Indian Central securities depository, founded in 1999. CDSL is the largest depository in India in terms of number of demat accounts opened.
