Enable Me, a Tampa-based company under VELA Medical, has achieved significant progress in improving mammography experiences with its FDA-approved VELA Mammography Chair. This innovation is now available in hospitals and clinics across 33 states.

The VELA Mammography Chair is designed to enhance patient comfort, safety, and imaging accuracy. Its innovative features include electric height and tilt adjustments, foldable armrests for wheelchair transfers, and a stable platform that accommodates patients of varying sizes, including those weighing up to 350 pounds. Additionally, the VELA Mammography Chair has the potential to improve workflow efficiency by reducing technologist strain and enhancing clinic hygiene.

Enable Me aims to expand access to the VELA Chair to all 50 states by the end of 2025.
