Exclusive Sneak Peek: See What Happens When The Ladies Meet Farmer Jay’s Friends On ‘Farmer Wants A Wife’
The third season of FOX’s hit reality dating show Farmer Wants A Wife is in full swing. During the premiere episode we were introduced to Farmer Colton of Arkansas, Farmer Jay of Alabama, Farmer John of Missouri, and Farmer Matt of California. We also met the women all vying for their chosen farmer’s heart. The men went on 8 speed dates before choosing 5 ladies to bring back to their farm.
Last week, the fellas all headed back home, each with one special lady along for the ride, and a private first date. After the first 24 hours, the other ladies joined their chosen beau at home. They got their first taste of farm life—whether that was shoveling cow, ahem, business, or pulling weeds from soy bean fields. The Farmers were beginning to learn more about the women they had chosen. Which ones might enjoy their lifestyle and for which ones it might just be too much.
At the end of the episode, host Kimberly Williams-Paisley sent a letter and gave the gentlemen the option to send one lady home if the connection didn’t seem to be evident. Jay, John, and Matt all chose to have all five of their ladies remain for another week, saying it was just too soon to make that call. Farmer Colton, however, seemed to be leaning towards a different choice but the episode ended on a cliffhanger on whether or not he decided to send Taylar home.
While we at Southern Living still do not know what Colton decided to do, we do have an exclusive sneak peek of what happens at Farmer Jay’s on this week’s episode. Once again the Farmers all received a letter from Williams-Paisley, this time saying it was time to bring in reinforcements. Each Farmer would be joined by his best friends to meet the ladies and help their friend figure out which one they think just isn’t right for their buddy.
In Alabama, the conversations on the night out with friends got mighty interesting. Take a look:
Jay’s best friend Poppie and cousin Ladarius first pull T’Yana aside to ask if she was willing to move to Florence for love. The 23-year-old stood firm that she will only move when she is “at least engaged.”
Meanwhile, Jay is chatting with the other ladies when Viviane-Lee shares a major detail about her dating history which seems to catch Jay off guard. “I’ve never been in like a hardcore relationship. I’ve done my little college situationships.”
Later, in a confessional to camera Jay says, “I’m here to find my wife. You know I’m not just looking for a girlfriend or a fun time. It’s definitely concerning.”
Do you want to know what happens next for the Florence, Alabama based farmer? You’ll have to tune in and find out. Farmer Wants A Wife airs Thursdays on FOX at 9/8 p.m. EST.
