Malaika suggested to perform three sets of 12 reps with 30 seconds rest between sets.

Recently, the actor shared an easy exercise that can be done simply on a yoga mat. With summer around the corner, chances are you have already started sweating it out in the gym for that perfect summer body. However, if you are looking to add some new exercises to your routine, this exercise might just be the answer.
Taking to her Instagram, Malaika Arora shared a video of her performing an easy exercise that not only stretches your body but also engages your abs and core. She wrote, “Sore Today, Strong Tomorrow. Fitness motivation | Abs and core workout.” The actor claimed that this exercise can help you transform your body in 30 days.

Malaika started the exercise by laying on her stomach on a yoga mat. She, then, went into a downward facing dog position. She brought her left leg forward and kept her right leg straight. She held the position for a few minutes and repeated this with the other leg. For the second set, she went into a downward facing dog position again. She started the exercise by bringing her left leg forward and turning it to the right and vice versa.
Malaika mentioned that this exercise would give you defined abs, reduced love handles, toned arms and legs. She added that one should perform three sets of this exercise with 12 repetitions each. Additionally, you can add 30 seconds of rest between each set to let your muscles relax.
This exercise is beneficial to add in between your intensive routine to give your muscles a break and to engage the other muscles in your body.
