Forum Members Review the Portofino-Staged Emilio Pucci Spring 2025 Collection

Camille Miceli has been the creative director of Pucci since 2021, and unveiled her debut collection for the Italian fashion label in 2022 for the Pre-Fall season. Fast forward to Spring 2025, and Miceli opted to show off-calendar and ventured to Portofino to present her latest Pucci collection. Against an idyllic background of lush blue skies and the majestic Ligurian Sea, models (including Naomi Campbell, Kristen McMenamy, and Lulu Tenney) took to the runway at “La Cervara” – a former abbey situated in Santa Margherita. Models donned slinky silhouettes with graphic swirl prints in a pared-back and sophisticated color palette of black, white, and soft pink.

Emilio Pucci Spring 2025 Collection Review

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:

“The idea is right, but it falls flat for me. Portofino is one of my most favourite places in the world that I’ve spent several times in. The blue of the Ligurian Sea with the vibrant and colourful buildings set against the lush green and the culture is what makes me return there time after time. I wish she would have truly captured that as the colors here are too drab and a bit lifeless.” [Salvatore]

“I haven’t enjoyed a Pucci collection since Peter Dundas left. He really knew how to make the brand dynamic and sexy. This isn’t terrible but it feels meh.” [bluestar]

“I don’t know why Pucci shows off the fashion week calendar as if it’s doing them any good. I can’t recall a decent collection from them since Peter Dundas.” [fenty]

“Her constant use of black in the prints and collections as a whole always looks so violent for a resort brand.” [hamburgers]

“Those black prints look like oil spillage at the Ligurian Sea. Everything feels heavy.” [jeanclaude]
