For Hailey and Justin Bieber, a coordinated date night style moment is a rare occurence. Their consistently mismatched looks (the Rhode beauty founder is almost always dressed to the nines while the “Sorry” singer goes for a significantly more casual outfit) has even inspired a viral meme–but the Biebers’ latest joint outing shows they’re proudly sticking with the opposites-attract fashion memo. On Tuesday night, Hailey turned heads in an It girl-approved leather mini dress with a 3D scalloped detail as she headed out to a Rhode party with an athleisure-clad Justin by her side.

While celebrating the launch of Rhode’s new pop-up store in Los Angeles on February 18, the beauty maven turned heads in what’s quickly becoming the cool girl dress for spring. Hailey wore Ferragamo’s plunging black leather mini dress, which featured a body-con silhouette, a daring upper thigh-length hemline, and an asymmetrical scalloped ruffle that ran along the entire left side of her dress. 

Fellow stars like Dua Lipa and Emily Ratajkowski have already worn slightly different iterations of the Ferragamo design, but the model styled the whimsical all-leather look with sheer black tights, black strappy sandal heels that laced around her ankles, and a matching black leather purse.

Wearing her cinnamon brown-colored hair in a straight, middle-parted blowout, Hailey let her signature beauty look–doughnut-glazed skin, a Rhode contour lipliner-accentuated matte pout, and a flush of rosy blush–be front and center as she shared behind-the-scenes footage of the pop-up, which is open until February 25.

Meanwhile, Justin could be seen wearing a sleeveless basketball jersey top with black sunglasses, a white beanie, and slouchy cargo pants as he posed with his wife in a TikTok video.

Hailey previously addressed why they go for different fashion vibes, telling GQ Hype that it comes down to what they’re each feeling like wearing that day.  “[Justin] may want to wear baggy sweats to dinner, and I might want to wear a tiny little dress just because that’s how I’m feeling. We can’t sit there and be like, ‘So, I’m going to wear this and you’re going to wear this,’” she told the publication.
