The original Squashies candy was first created in 2012 when Swizzels wanted to expand on their favorite flavor combinations to create a unique foamy candy. Today, you can find both brands online and in stores like Five Below. If Taylor’s endorsement wasn’t enough, I read through rave after rave review on Amazon. Some called the candy “so worth the hype,” while others mentioned the “addicting texture” and “fruity flavor.”

What Do Squashies Taste Like?

The version of Squashies I tried was raspberry and cream flavor. The candies were soft and chewy with just the right amount of sweetness. The flavor wasn’t strongly raspberry, but just enough that it paired well with the cream half. And while the flavor was fantastic, it was the texture that kept me coming back. They’re very soft, like a marshmallow, but with chewiness like bubblegum or circus peanuts. I polished off the entire bag in an afternoon and immediately bought three more. They’ve become a favorite dessert in our house. And I’m not sorry to say I’ve hidden a bag from my kids for candy emergencies.

The Verdict on Taylor’s Swift’s Favorite Gummies

If you like gummy candy even a little bit, you must give Squashies a try. Taylor hasn’t steered us wrong with her recipe picks (I still love this creamy spiced chicken), and these gummies are no exception. I will absolutely buy a bag or two any time I see them.
