I Went on a Ski Trip to Utah—Here’s Everything I Packed From $12

To make the most out of the last few weeks of winter, my friends and I decided to plan a last-minute ski trip to Utah. While neither cold weather nor extreme sports appeal to me, my love of après-ski fashion—and The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City—were reason enough to buy a plane ticket.

I viewed this trip as one final victory lap for my winter wardrobe, including my warmest jackets, the celebrity-loved snow boots I rarely have the chance to wear in New York, and cozy loungewear. However, it’s already starting to warm up in Park City, so I also packed versatile jeans, leggings, and layering pieces that can be worn into spring and beyond. Below, find everything I packed for my ski trip from Ugg, Lululemon, Skims, Abercrombie, and more.

Everything I Packed for My Ski Trip

Ugg Tasman Slippers

Zappos

My Ugg slippers are one of my main travel must-haves regardless of where I’m headed (I love to wear them on the plane), but they’re especially suited for a ski trip. From morning coffee runs to game nights at the house, I was basically living in these cozy classics all weekend. Paired with chunky knit socks, they were the perfect cute and comfy accompaniment to my leggings, sweat sets, and denim.

Free People We the Free Ziggy Denim Overalls

Free People

I bought these Free People overalls three years ago on a different ski trip and they’ve been a year-round mainstay in my closet ever since. The slouchy, effortless fit makes them as comfortable as my favorite pajamas while channeling that laidback mountain town vibe. On this trip, I wore these overalls with a chocolate brown Skims turtleneck and my Ugg slippers for an afternoon of shopping. During the warmer months, I layer them over T-shirts, tanks, and even bikini tops.

Lululemon Align High-Rise Leggings

lululemon

With more than 11,000 five-star ratings, the Lululemon Align Leggings are a shopper-loved favorite for a reason. They’re made from a breathable, buttery-soft fabric that feels like you’re not wearing anything at all. Ideal for everything from stretching and low-impact workouts to lounging at home, the unrivaled quality of these leggings is well worth the price. Styled with my Aritizia Super Puff Jacket, they kept me looking and feeling great on a snowshoe hike.

Moon Boot Icon Low Nylon Boots

Revolve

If you’ve been eyeing Moon Boots but have been too intimidated to commit to a pair, consider this your sign to try the iconic Après ski trend. My short black-and-white Moon Boots were a Christmas gift a few years ago and I get excited every time I have an excuse to break them out. The instantly recognizable retro style has been co-signed by celebrity cool girls like Dua Lipa and Hailey Bieber, plus they’re the warmest boots I own.

Aire Whirlpool Sunglasses

Nordstrom

Compelled to purchase by the reasonable price, I bought tinted aviator sunglasses by Aire on a whim, and they’ve become my favorite winter sunglasses. The vintage-inspired silhouette flatters a range of face shapes and the colored lenses provide just the right amount of sun protection without being too dark to wear inside or on a snowy gray day.

Keep scrolling for the rest of my ski trip packing list, which includes a preppy crewneck sweatshirt, the Alo Yoga workout onesie I always get compliments on, and the under-$100 jeans I can’t stop wearing.
