Having “me-time” is very precious to me, especially considering I’m a mom to a toddler.  Between being my son’s chef, maid, tour guide, sleep coach, and personal assistant, I cherish my downtime. Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place 24-Hour Concealer

The Estée Lauder’s Double Wear Concealer has become my new go-to for its blurring formula. Made with micro silica spheres, it instantly gives my complexion a soft-focus, filter-like finish—which is quite the feat considering I have acne- and redness-prone skin and have had more dark circles lately (a combo of sleepless nights and seasonal allergies).

With the Double Wear Concealer, a little goes a long way and dabbing just a few dots of it onto my breakouts and under eyes does the trick. I love that it provides medium-to-full coverage, but it doesn’t feel or look like I have anything on. It’s actually more like a moisturizing matte (an oxymoron, I know) that controls my oils, especially in the T-zone, but it’s never drying. If anything, it gives me a naturally radiant, healthy-looking complexion.

Although the Estée Lauder Double Wear Concealer promises 24-hour wear, I don’t keep my makeup on for that long. However, I can attest that it holds up for at least eight to 10 hours without caking or separating. When I use this, I don’t have to worry about touching up my makeup, either—a huge perk since most of the time I’m running around with my toddler and don’t always have time to freshen up my makeup. I can even wear it in hot, humid weather and it stays put.
