If you’ve spent any time on home decor Pinterest, TikTok, or Instagram lately, then you know that scalloped decor is back in a big way. The trend is taking over, and personally, as an interior designer who encourages clients to embrace their personalities and not be afraid of whimsy in their spaces, I’m so here for it. You can style scalloping to be bright, bold, and funky or subtle, soft, and feminine, and it looks good in just about every form, like wicker storage baskets, rattan lamp shades, ceramic plant pots, metal light fixtures, throw pillows, and area rugs. 

The best part is you don’t have to spend a ton to try out the trend in your own home—while there certainly are gorgeous, high-end pieces you can buy, there are also loads of affordable options (yes, even when it comes to furniture) that you can shop online. Houseplants bring so much life and color into our homes, so get in on the scalloped trend and give your plants a stylish upgrade with this whimsical plant pot and saucer combo. The pot itself is straightforward, with a standard cylindrical shape, but the scalloped rim around the drip tray makes this planter stand out. While you can snag this plant pot in plain white or even a bold cobalt blue with white trim, I think the pot really shines in the white with blue tipping option.
