Punjab Kings (PBKS) delivered a commanding performance, chasing down a 172-run target against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) with ease in Match 13 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, India, on Tuesday.

After winning the toss and electing to field, PBKS bowlers kept LSG in check, restricting them to 171/7 in 20 overs.

Despite Ayush Badoni’s 41, Nicholas Pooran’s 44, and Aiden Markram’s 28, LSG struggled to build partnerships after losing early wickets in the powerplay.

In response, Punjab Kings dominated the chase, reaching the target in just 16.2 overs with eight wickets in hand.

Prabhsimran Singh led the charge with a blazing 69-run knock, while skipper Shreyas Iyer remained unbeaten on 52. Nehal Wadhera also played a crucial role, finishing not out on 43 to guide PBKS to victory.
