Jack Falahee reflects on ‘intense union’ with ‘HTGAWM’ co-star
Jack Falahee dished on his honest thoughts on how he found a lifelong friend in Conrad Ricamora after they co-starred in How to Get Away With Murder.
The 36-year-old actor shared that he needed a break after the “intense” TV series.
“He’s a rock star and one of the loves of my life. It was bizarre. We needed a break after the show wrapped — and it was a very intense union with the two of us on screen,” he told Us Weekly.
The co-stars, Falahee and Ricamora, found a different dynamic after the show. “It took us a second, and then I flew out to New York to see him. I was so grateful that we had taken the break. Because I think it gave us the runway to now have this really, really beautiful friendship.”
He went on to say that even during the show, Ricamora had been a great support to him, “He’s another person that has just been an incredible shoulder to lean on. I would kill for the opportunity to work with him again. But he’s busy being a Broadway star. I mean, have you seen Oh, Mary!? He’s absolutely sensational.”
Falahee added, “I will fly literally around the world to see him on stage. And if anyone has the opportunity to, they should as well.”
ABC’s show How to Get Away With Murder aired from 2014 to 2020 but the co-stars remained close after professionally moving on in different directions.
