Janhvi Kapoor
Janhvi Kapoor not only won the Best Actress (Popular Choice) award for Mr & Mrs Mahi but also won hearts for her stylish look on the News18 Showsha Reel Awards red carpet. A vision in red, Janhvi Kapoor’s red carpet look featured a strapless gown in scarlet red embellished with tonal shimmery detailing. Janhvi’s opulent gown fit her like a glove and the sweetheart neckline turned this glamorous silhouette into an iconic red carpet moment.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu
Samantha Ruth Prabhu once again chose a creation designed by fashion designer and her dear friend, Kresha Bajaj. The custom saree drape featured a cape and scalloping bustier. The cape has been reinterpreted into a piece of body jewellery. Created on a wire structure, strung with faceted crystal beads, the bustier takes on the contours of Samantha’s body, creating a universally flattering shape. Samantha looked ethereal on stage when she went to receive the Best Actor (Female) OTT award for Citadel: Honey Bunny.
Aditi Rao Hydari
Aditi Rao Hydari recreated her iconic ‘Gaja Gamini Walk’ on the News18 Showsha Reel Awards stage with host Arjun Kapoor. Dressed in a Ritika Mirchandani ensemble, Aditi Rao Hydari took home the OTT Star of the Year (Female) award for Heeramandi. A perfect blend of timeless elegance and contemporary flair, Aditi’s ensemble featured a Mandarin-patterned kurta paired with the cascade sharara.
Pratibha Ranta
Pratibha Ranta won the Rising Star Award for Laapataa Ladies and the stunning diva channelled her inner desi girl in a contemporary Indian saree. The lime green sheer saree with intricate embroidery detailing added a rich texture to her winning look. Pratibha paired the saree with a bralette that added a contemporary and glamorous touch to her desi style.
Raveena Tandon
Raveena Tandon won the Special Award: Reel Icon at the News18 Showsha Reel Awards 2025. An icon in every sense, Raveena graced the awards ceremony in a Warp n Weft handloom Banarasi saree with traditional motifs. Raveena looked like a ray of sunshine in the yellow saree, which was not only an elegant choice but an iconic one too!
