Jennifer Lopez ‘doesn’t feel betrayed’ by Ben Affleck for hugging Jennifer Garner
Jennifer Lopez is totally fine with the recent viral pictures of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner getting close.
JLo isn’t losing sleep over recent photos of Affleck and Garner sharing a friendly hug at their son Samuel’s birthday party.
After snaps surfaced of Affleck, 52, wrapping his arms around Garner, also 52, at the March 2 celebration, a source revealed that Lopez is completely unbothered by the moment.
“Jennifer Garner knows what it is and knows what it is not. And people are reading into it in a way to create drama where there is none,” the source told PEOPLE.
Lopez, 55, who finalized her divorce from Affleck in January after two years of marriage, “doesn’t feel betrayed,” the insider added. “I think the two Jens are great admirers of the other, and I think they’re all co-parenting.”
Despite the endless speculation, there’s no tension in this blended family.
“There is no animosity. They are friendly,” the source clarified, adding, “We’re always pitting women against women. In this case, it’s just not the truth.”
Affleck and Garner reunited at a paintball party for Samuel’s 13th birthday, where they were seen laughing and sharing a warm hug.
“They have been on good terms for a while now and seem to enjoy chatting and hanging out,” another insider shared on March 5. “Most of the time, the kids are around too.”
The source also noted that Affleck “usually acts happy around” Garner, who is currently dating businessman John Miller.
“She doesn’t seem to mind. She seems to enjoy spending time with Ben,” the insider said. The former couple shares three children: Samuel, Violet, 19, and Seraphina, 16.
In other words, it’s all love, all co-parenting, and no drama—no matter how much the internet tries to stir the pot.
