Kanye West’s recent explosive behaviour has raised concerns among fans and insiders, who claim that the rapper’s troubles may be fueled by a relapse into nitrous oxide use, also known as laughing gas.

Sources close to West told Radar Online that the Yeezy founder has been abusing the substance, leading to a loss of control over his words and actions. 

“When Kanye is inhaling laughing gas, he loses all his inhibitions and just says and does anything that comes to him at the spur of the moment,” one insider explained. “Half the time, he doesn’t even remember afterward.”

The Donda rapper reportedly quit using nitrous oxide in August 2023 but returned to the habit earlier this year. 

Insiders say this has led to a return of dangerous and erratic behavior, including hateful comments about Jewish people and Hitler.

Medical experts have warned about the serious risks associated with laughing gas. 

Dr Gabe Mirkin, a Florida physician, said, “It is habit-forming mentally because the user will want to keep chasing the euphoria they feel, but it destroys brain cells and greatly increases the risk of developing dementia.”

Sources claim that signs of cognitive decline may already be surfacing. “He’s returned to his old self-destructive ways, and it’s eating away at whatever is left of him,” another insider said. 

“He not only forgets what he has said, he has trouble remembering the names of people he’s known for years.”

Concerns are mounting that West may be on the brink of another serious breakdown. “You hope for the best but fear for the worst with Kanye. The gas has him heading for near-certain disaster,” the insider added.
