Kate Hudson urges parents to apologise to kids for THIS reason
Kate Hudson emphasizes the importance of apologizing to one’s kids, revealing that’s not how she learned along the way.
The 45-year-old, who shares three kids Ryder, Bingham, and Rani with three different fathers, opened up on Kylie Kelce’s Not Gonna Lie podcast about the importance of admitting mistakes and apologizing to kids.
She told Kylie, “The importance of being able to tell your kids that you could do better, I could’ve handled that situation better, actually models much more for them than being stubborn and saying, ‘No I can’t admit that I was wrong.’”
Reflecting on the biggest lesson she’s learned so far, Hudson explained that it’s important to realize your mistakes once in every while.
The mom-of-three, who has been parenting for 21 years now, further went on to add, “Sometimes in conflict, you go too far, and you need to say you’re sorry. Instead of teaching them that you doubled down. And what you find in going to your kids and saying, ‘I made a mistake’ … that connection becomes stronger.”
On professional front, the multi-hyphenate star is keeping busy with her latest comedy series, Running Point, set to premiere starting February 27.
