The wedding kickstarted with the haldi ceremony yesterday. While Aaliyah glowed in her bridal glow, her best friend Khushi Kapoor raised the bar when it came to bridesmaid fashion.
For Aaliyah’s haldi, her BFF Khushi Kapoor went with a pre-draped yellow saree and showed how Gen Z bridesmaids can elevate haldi fashion with a minimalistic look. She shared pictures from the haldi on her Instagram and wrote, “Haldi morning.” The pre-draped saree came with a matching blouse. The pre-draped saree by Drishti and Zahabia came in a vibrant yellow colour, making it perfect for the haldi. Made from dupion silk, the saree was adorned with intricate traditional motifs like paisley prints and flowers. The saree was so beautifully draped that it flaunted the actor‘s svelte figure. She paired the saree with a backless halter neck blouse in the same pattern. The lace-up back reminded one of corsets while the detailed embellishments around the neckline gave it a fusion look.
