Is it just us, or has Little Debbie been on a bit of a roll lately?

Just two months after sending the internet into a tizzy with the release of Nutty Buddy Creme Pies, the beloved snack brand is at it again with a new twist on a classic—if the rumors are true.

According to a popular snack review account on Instagram, Little Debbie will soon be rolling out yet another Nutty Buddy spin-off: Nutty Buddy Cakes!  

They “look to have either a vanilla or peanut butter cake with peanut butter icing that is coated in chocolate,” Snackolator writes, adding that Little Debbie fans can expect them in stores in mid- to late April. Little Debbie has yet to confirm the news.  

“I need these,” one Instagram user wrote. 

“There is a god,” another exclaimed. 

“I’m looking forward to these,” one chimed in. “I love Funny Bones.”

As numerous other comments suggest, the new Nutty Buddy Cakes look and sound like Drake’s Funny Bones, a peanut-butter-filled devil’s food snack cake that disappeared from stores about a decade ago.

However, the majority of the comments request that Little Debbie provide some “crunch” for the true Nutty Buddy experience. Snackolator and the commentators seem to agree that the filling of the Nutty Buddy Creme Pies is sadly devoid of crunch. 

“I really hope they learn their lesson from the pies and add some crunch in the filling so it actually represents a Nutty Buddy,” the caption reads.
