Spring is almost here, which means it’s time for Magnolia’s seasonal celebration at the Silos in Waco, Texas. Each year, Chip and Joanna Gaines put together “Spring at the Silos,” a two-month event offering exciting activities every weekend from March to April. 

Live Events at the Silos

This year, weekend events alternate throughout the two months at the Silos. Already kicked off on March 7, locals and visitors alike gathered for enjoyable refreshments and exciting events. On March 14-15, you can sway along to the tunes of four musicians, munch on bites from food trucks, and even attend thrilling trivia.

If you missed the artisan pop-up during opening weekend, don’t fret. March 21-22 brings the pop-up back, featuring a select rotation of unique vendors who will also perform live demonstrations of their beautiful artwork. You’ll even be able to grab prints for yourself.

Endless Springtime Fun

You’ll also find loads of activities to participate in every weekend. This year, they’ll offer family-friendly activities for all ages, like writing postcards, temporary tattoos, or coloring. There will also be plenty of opportunities for photos across the grounds. 

Every shop at the Silos will also be open as usual, with many good eats at the Silos Baking Co. The Silos’ coffee shop, Magnolia Press, is a great place to grab a drink and a quick bite. If you’re looking for a sit-down meal, try Magnolia Table—though you’ll probably need a reservation to get into this popular restaurant during the spring season. On April 19, a very special celebration will take place: an Easter egg hunt. The sprawling lawn at the Silos hosts the annual hunt, boasting hundreds of eggs and special surprises to discover. 

These events, and the performances mentioned above, are free to attend and require no reservations, so you can have an action-packed weekend through April at no cost.

Rooftop Lounge Access

For $25, you can also attend the Silos’ rooftop lounge at Magnolia Market. The rooftop is open every weekend in March and April until 5 p.m., and tickets are available for purchase through the Magnolia website.

While access passes have already sold out for March due to the rooftop lounge’s popularity, you can always keep an eye on Magnolia’s social media to see if more might be released in the future, or wait for April. You can also book a guided tour of the Silos year-round, which offers the same rooftop access and photo opportunities.
