In many households, it’s common to cook extra rice at night and store it for later. The next morning, you can use this leftover rice to make different types of snacks. How To Make Bhaat Fry?

  1. First of all, heat oil in a pan.
  2. When the oil is well heated, add cumin seeds, green chillies, gram flour, chopped onion, chopped potato and stir it on low heat until golden brown.
  3. After that, pour rice on it, and then, add turmeric and salt as per taste and mix everything well.
  4. Fry it on low heat for a while. Your breakfast rice fry (Bhaat Fry) is ready.

How To Make Dhuska Roti?

  1. To make Dhuska Roti (thick roti), mix the rice well by pressing it with your hands.
  2. Add rice flour to it, salt as per taste and then add some water and mix all well. Make sure that the mixture is not too loose or too thick.
  3. After mixing it properly, turn on the gas and place a tava, and once its hot, apply oil on it.
  4. Then take a little wet ball of dough in your hand. put it in the pan and spread it in a round, slightly thick shape. Cover it with a lid and let it cook on low heat.
  5. After 5 to 10 minutes, remove the lid, apply oil on the roti and flip it to let it cook on the other side as well. Once it turns light red on both sides, the delicious Dhuska Roti of Chhattisgarh is ready. You can enjoy it with tomato chutney or any sabji.
