Martha Stewart Just Launched a Paint Line Full of Soothing, Timeless Colors—and It’s Available on Amazon
Is there anything Martha can’t do? As if she isn’t busy enough running her empire, Martha Stewart just launched a new paint collection with Fine Paints of Europe. The line, MARTHA by Martha Stewart Collection of Wall Colors in collaboration with Fine Paints of Europe, features 40 colors curated by the legend herself, and each shade is exactly what you’d expect: timeless, sophisticated, and comforting—all traits we associate with the domestic goddess.
While the palette is limited, it caters to so many tastes and preferences, with a range of warm and cool tones and a spectrum of saturations that will make any space shine. From creamy whites to buttery yellows, powdery blues, and muted browns and pinks, there really is something for everyone. Additionally, there are three formulations available for surfaces beyond standard walls, like ceilings, woodwork, doors, and trim. And, of course, you can choose from a few different finishes to get your desired effect: flat, matte, satin, and brilliant.
Our favorite touch? Some of the paint color names pay homage to Martha’s personal life and her legacy. For example, there’s Bedford Gray, a lovely mid-tone gray, which shouts out her beloved farmhouse property in Bedford, New York. Other colors nod to her cooking and gardening prowess, like Fennel Seed Green.
“I curated this beautiful line of wall colors, inspired by nature, as I know a home should be both functional and appealing,” Martha said in a press release about the new line. And it’s apparent that nature—and farm life—heavily influenced the color story, with hues like Araucana Blue, Slip Stream, and Ursa Major Yellow.
To be clear, this isn’t Martha’s first foray into paint, nor is her relationship with Fine Paints of Europe new. In fact, their history stretches back over 30 years—her first paint line (Colors of the Garden collection) was introduced by Fine Paints of Europe in 1994, and it was followed by a slew of other nature-inspired releases. Martha’s love of paint runs so deep, she even had a successful line of crafting paints you may have used for some DIY projects.
Perhaps one of the most appealing aspects of this new paint line is that you can buy it directly on Amazon, making it extremely accessible. However, the price point is a little high—it’s $125 for a container that’s a little smaller than your average gallon of paint. There’s no doubt, though, that it’s a quality product and probably worth every penny, especially if it has Martha’s stamp of approval. Plus, who wouldn’t want to paint their home in shades cherry-picked by the one and only Martha Stewart?
