Nicole Kidman has ditched her signature strawberry blonde locks for a brand-new icy beauty look that has rendered the actress nearly unrecognizable. Featuring a blunt lob that hits just below her collar bone and a fresh set of bangs, the haircut completed her transformation for season two of the wellness thriller Nine Perfect Strangers.

Oh, and for those fans who aren’t quite ready to say goodbye to Kidman’s signature ‘do? Don’t worry: the new look is most likely a wig.

Nine Perfect Strangers is based on the best-selling book of the same name. Much like season three of The White Lotus, the show follows a group of rich guests as they attempt to destress at a health and wellness spa. Things take a dark turn however, when manager Masha Dmitrichenko (Kidman) admits to toying with her guests.

“Hopefully you laugh,” Kidman told T.J. Holmes on Good Morning America. “Hopefully you cry, hopefully you feel frightened, intrigued, curious, and hang on for the ride.”

This isn’t the first time that the Big Little Lies actress has undergone a hair-related transformation, of course. Last spring, she debuted a platinum blonde shoulder-skimming tousled bob, and at this year’s Golden Globe Awards, she paired her custom Balenciaga gown with an Old Hollywood-inspired bombshell bouffant.

As for Nine Perfect Strangers? You’ll have to wait another month to see what Masha is up to this time around; season two debuts on May 21 on Hulu.
