Nuggets vs Lakers 108-120: Luka Dončić loving life in LA as they win 3-in-a-row | The Express Tribune

Luka Dončić delivered a 31-point performance as the Los Angeles Lakers secured a 120-108 home win over the Denver Nuggets, extending their winning streak to three games.

The 26-year-old Slovenian dominated early, scoring 21 points in the first quarter—his highest in any quarter since joining the Lakers in February.

He finished with nine rebounds and seven assists, marking the 200th 30-point game of his career.

Austin Reaves contributed 22 points as the Lakers played without injured stars LeBron James and Rui Hachimura.

Denver, missing Nikola Jokić and Jamal Murray, struggled to recover after trailing 46-29 at the end of the first quarter. The loss saw the Nuggets slip behind the Lakers in the Western Conference standings.

“Like I always say, every day gets better,” Dončić told ESPN. “That’s three wins in a row now, so we’ve got to just keep it going.”

Luka also made personal history, as the win against Nuggets was his 200th career 30-point game.

Since joining Los Angeles from Dallas, Dončić has posted 30 or more points in eight of his 16 games. The Lakers’ 46-point first quarter was their highest-scoring period of the season.
