Pickles are absolutely everywhere in 2025. And you know what? Nobody is mad about it. In fact, the more pickles, the better, which is why this announcement from Popeyes is welcome news. 

On Tuesday, April 1, Popeyes announced that it’s introducing an all-new Pickle Menu. And we know what you’re thinking: No, this isn’t an April Fools’ joke. It’s very, very real. Importantly, it’s not just some food with pickles. As Popeyes explained, “It’s a whole pickle takeover.” 

“We’re pickle people, so we understand that there truly can never be enough pickles,” chef Amy Alarcon, the vice president of culinary at Popeyes, shared in a statement provided to Food & Wine. “This pickle-packed lineup was created to ensure the perfect balance of crisp texture, vibrant acidity, and our world-famous Louisiana flavors with every bite. If you love that chicken, you’re going to love that pickle.” 

The pickle-centric menu features the Pickle Glaze Sandwich, which Popeyes describes as “a briny twist on the iconic Popeyes Chicken Sandwich,” featuring battered chicken coated in a “zesty pickle-flavored glaze,” topped with thick-cut pickles and served on a toasted brioche bun.

Additionally, there are the Pickle Glaze Bone-In Wings, which deliver “the perfect balance of savory heat and briny goodness in every bite,” along with the Pickle Glaze Boneless Wings, which come with “all the crunch, all the flavor — none of the bones.”

Naturally, Fried Pickles are also on the menu, battered in Popeyes’ signature seasoning and fried to perfection, served with a side of creamy ranch dipping sauce. You can wash it all down with a Pickle Lemonade, which the company describes as a sweet-yet-savory lemonade infused with real pickle juice.

For those in New York City, there’s one more surprise: the brand has pickled its flagship location in Times Square, turning it green and even adding an ASMR booth so you can listen to and record that signature Popeyes crunch.

“What started as a playful social tease has now become a full-fledged culinary reality — a Pickled Popeyes,” Bart LaCount, the chief marketing officer at Popeyes US and Canada, added. “From pickling our flagship restaurant, social channels, to our menu, it’s true that nobody pickles like Popeyes.” 

Naturally, this will all only be available for a limited time, so if you want all the tangy menu items, you better act fast.
