Randeep Hooda and his wife, Lin Laishram, have come together to exude old-world charm and regal sophistication for a special campaign by designer Karan Torani for his Indian luxury wear label Torani. The pictures from the shoot have gone viral on social media. With their looks and ensembles, they highlight the essence of India’s living, breathing culture—one that is constantly evolving while remaining deeply rooted in its timeless traditions.
Torani’s latest collection, Juloos, celebrates India and its festivals. From Ganesh Chaturthi, Gudi Padwa to Dusshera, the collection is an ode to India’s cultural richness. Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram showcase the vibrant Ramlila. Sharing the look, Torani said, “From the child dressed as Hanuman during Ramlila to the toddler in Krishna’s attire on their first birthday, every festival is more than a celebration; it is a living, breathing reminder of the values they teach. The valor and loyalty of Hanuman, the integrity and might of Krishna—these stories weave themselves into our lives, never needing to be revived, for they are not in the past but within us.”
The caption continued, “Through these celebrations, our culture evolves with us, ever-present, guiding us, shaping us. And in every tradition, lies a lesson, timeless and powerful, that continues to shape our identity.”
Take a look at Randeep’s and Lin’s outfits here.
Randeep was dressed in a well-tailored aurbergine-hued kurta set that he had paired with a printed jacket and a matching turban. Lin, on the other hand, complemented him in a printed purple lehenga skirt that she had paired with a statement cape-style blouse.
Set against the backdrop of the Red Fort in Delhi, the campaign celebrates the vibrant and living nature of Indian traditions, which are not merely confined to history, but are present in the everyday lives of the people.
