Robert Pattinson has officially gone full dad mode. Speaking to Extra about his 11-month-old daughter with Suki Waterhouse, the Twilight actor revealed that he has picked up some “expert” parenting skills in his first year of fatherhood—specifically when it comes to changing diapers.

“I’m an expert, like, the stealth nappy when the baby doesn’t even know they’ve had their nappy changed,” Pattinson said proudly.

He also revealed that his daughter, whose name has not been publicly announced, has a few skills of her own. “I hate boasting about it, but my daughter’s been, like, the most incredible sleeper since birth,” he said.

Pattinson and Waterhouse, who were first linked back in 2018, welcomed their daughter in early 2024—they subtly broke the news when they were spotted pushing a stroller in March.

Since then, the couple have embraced parenthood.

It’s the best,” Waterhouse said of motherhood to Access Hollywood in September. “And it’s just getting more and more fun.”

She also gushed about Pattinson’s involvement, saying, “He’s the greatest.”

Pattinson has also opened up about his experience of parenting in the past. In January, for instance, he told Vogue that he was astonished to find he really did love his baby’s smell.

“I remember people used to be like, ‘Oh, don’t you like the smell of babies, but I thought they were just smelling the baby powder,” Pattinson said. “But then I had a baby, and I was like ‘my baby smells incredible.'”
