This year, Sam’s Club is making getting ready for the holidays a little bit easier by introducing a brand-new Christmas treat that would make a splash on the Christmas buffet—a  Chocolate Yule Log. 

The Sam’s Club yule log looks like the traditional holiday bûche de Noël of rolled-up sponge cake layered with chocolate and vanilla buttercream. The resulting roll is then decorated to look like a classic yule log with chocolate swirls and festive poinsettias done in velvety frosting.

As longtime fans of Sam’s Club baked goods (seriously, that sheet cake!) it’s no real surprise that they are able to deliver some delectable-looking holiday cheer in log form. Even better the price won’t break the bank, which is always important, but particularly during the holidays. Priced at just $14.98, don’t be surprised if this chocolate classic pops up as a centerpiece on many a holiday table. While whipping up a homemade bûche de Noël is a fun challenge, at this time of year, we’ll take all the short-cuts necessary to stay merry and bright.
