Sophie Turner returns home to UK with girls after Joe Jonas split
Sophie turner is reportedly planning to return to the UK with her two daughters following her split from ex-husband, Joe Jonas.
The 29-year-old actress, who shares daughters Willa and Delphine with the Healing hitmaker, is returning after reaching a custody agreement with Joe.
Discussing her relationship, the British celebrity said, “There were some days that I didn’t know if I was going to make it. I would call my lawyer saying, ‘I can’t do this. I just can’t.’ I was just never strong enough to stand up for myself. And then, finally, after two weeks of me being in a rut, she reminded me that it was my children I was fighting for.
After parting ways with the American singer, Turner began dating aristocrat Peregrine Pearson.
Reflecting on her children, The Staircase actress has decided to spend quality time with her two young daughters.
As reported by MailOnline, she shared, “I’m unhappy with the way everything played out, especially when it comes to my children. They’re the victims in all of this. But I think we’re doing the best we can. I’m confident that we can figure it out. Joe is a great father to our children and that’s all I can ask for.
Expressing his feelings, the Leave Before You Love Me hitmaker, recalled his days after the split in his 2024 song, Work It Out.
The lyrics include: “Come on, Joe, you got so much more to be grateful for/ Stop being sad because you’re making the room uncomfortable/ OK I get it/ I know you’re feeling so miserable. Sometimes I wish I had powers to be invisible/Even baddies get saddies and that’s the hardest truth/Called your mommy and daddy, they don’t know what to do.”
On the professional front, the 35-year-old singer is gearing up to release his solo LP in May, titled Music for People Who Believe in Love.
For the unversed, Turner and Jonas got married on May 1, 2019, and decided to part ways in September 2024 following their separation in 2023.
