Sydney Sweeney brought bridal energy to the red carpet as she stepped out at CinemaCon on Tuesday, April 1. Amid reports of a split from ex-fiancé Jonathan Davino, the Euphoria alum was all smiles as she posed with her The Housemaid co-stars Amanda Seyfried and Brandon Sklenar. Sweeney appeared to use her style as a subtle nod to her changed relationship status, wearing an actual wedding dress to the event. 

The two-piece bridal design, which Page Six reported is from wedding designer Wiederhoeft’s spring 2025 collection, nipped in Sweeney’s waist with a strapless paneled silver-white corset top. The dramatic drop-waist bodice was paired with a matching floor-length skirt that had a thigh-high slit in the back, as well as a belt that was buckled over the low-rise waistline.

Sweeney, who could be seen laughing and chatting with her co-stars in photos, paired the wedding look with silver pointy-toed slingback heels. The White Lotus actress wore her long blonde hair in soft bombshell waves with curtain bangs, and accentuated her features with a bronze glow and black liquid eyeliner.

Sweeney’s red carpet appearance comes just days after she wore an icy blue dress to attend the wedding of former Anyone But You co-star Glen Powell’s sister. Powell’s mom was quick to shut down romance rumors, insisting that the pair were longtime friends, but multiple sources confirmed that Sweeney was single and on the market after breaking up with her fiancé.

A source told People that the actress felt overwhelmed balancing her blossoming career with her relationship and she “didn’t feel right about” settling down when she wanted to focus on work.

“She’s exactly where she wants to be. Most people would feel overwhelmed by her working schedule this year, but not Syd. She’s all about working right now and very excited about all her projects,” they told the publication, adding, “What did make her overwhelmed though was her relationship and her wedding.”

“She’s not ready to settle down,” the source explained. “They only lasted for this long because it was hard for her to break it off. They didn’t split because there is no love. They split because she just wants to focus on her career right now.”
