Hey Taco Bell lovers of all ages, listen up. Taco Bell has just announced a new limited edition item that is really shaking up the fast food landscape. They are wading into the increasingly crowded waters of the chicken nugget war. Yes, Taco Bell is going to have chicken nuggets. They will officially hit menus nationwide December 19.

Taylor Montgomery, Taco Bell’s chief marketing officer spoke in a press release on what makes these nuggets so special. “As the inventors of Nacho Fries, Taco Bell is fully aware that reinventing an American classic with a Taco Bell twist is a responsibility we don’t take lightly. But in a world dominated by chicken cravings, it was time to show the world how Taco Bell does chicken nuggets – unexpected and undeniably bold,” he said.

Montgomery continued, “The Crispy Chicken Nuggets deliver a crispier, more flavorful nugget experience, and combined with the Hidden Valley Fire Ranch Sauce, we hope it will test people’s devotion to their favorite nuggets.”

Yup, you read that right. Along with the nuggets Taco Bell is also treating us two three new sauces that will be sure to light your tastebuds on fire. What I’m most excited for is the Hidden Valley Fire Ranch Sauce that blends Taco Bell’s signature Fire Sauce with Hidden Valley Ranch. Talk about a match made in heaven! The second sauce that is coming out is the delightfully flavorful Bell Sauce. This one is made with tomatoes, red chiles and garlic which is equal parts tangy as it is creamy. Lastly, the Jalapeño Honey Mustard is a sweetly hot option that’s made with honey mustard and jalapeños that will give you a much needed kick.

The new Crispy Chicken Nuggets will be available in five-piece or 10-piece orders at Taco Bell locations nationwide on December 19.
