Taylor Swift fans believe that karma has stricken Philadelphia Eagles safety C.J. Gardener-Johnson after his viral comments about the singer.

Gardener-Johnson, who left negative comments about the Grammy winner after Super Bowl, was traded to the Houston Texans on Tuesday, March 11th.

The trade came as a surprise to Philadelphia fans, since he still had two years left of his contract.

However, Swifties went into celebration mode as the news was announced, and believed that it was due to his inappropriate comments about the pop superstar and her beau, Travis Kelce.

“The Eagles probably traded CJ Gardner-Johnson partly because of the Taylor Swift thing. Let’s not lie here,” one comment read.

Echoing the sentiment, another added, “karma is Tay’s boyfriend,” referring to Swift’s song, Karma.

“tayvoodoo is alive and well,” a third chimed in.

“Taylor Swift somehow worked her magic to get CJ Gardner-Johnson traded out of Philly after that parade shirt,” another user added.

This comes after the Eagles safety wore a sweatshirt that read a vulgar comment for Swift.

Taking his jab to another level, Gardner-Johnson later shared an Instagram Story that suggested that Kelce should’ve stayed with his ex Kayla Nicole.

Neither Swift nor Kelce ever addressed his comments.
