If you daydream of adding one of Amazon’s tiny houses to your shopping cart (us too!) but worried the weather in your area isn’t suitable for tiny home living, we stumbled upon the home you’ve been looking for.

This Allwood tiny home kit is designed for use in colder climates, making it the perfect choice for a winter getaway or a cabin in the woods. Two stories and with a covered front porch, the home includes all framing components, siding, and extra window trim to keep out cold air. While actual insulation material is not included, the home accommodates insulation in the roof, floor, and walls, ensuring it will keep you warm even on the coldest winter days.

Made of wood, the home has a double door, two floor-to-ceiling windows, and multiple smaller windows. The covered front porch is wide enough to hold a round table and four chairs, so there’s plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors—when it’s not freezing cold out, of course. There’s also room for an Adirondack chair and some potted plants, and thanks to the large roof, you can even enjoy it on a rainy day.

The wall and floor insulation package adds a bit to the cost of the cabin, but the roof insulation option is included in the listed price. The roof insulation includes ceiling boards, a moisture block to prevent damage to the wood, roof boards or plywood, roofing felt, and an optional railing if you’d prefer a metal roof. The package also includes fiberglass insulation, but you will need to purchase foam or rockwool separately.

If you choose to add the wall and floor insulation package, you’ll also get more moisture blocks, foam, wall planking, a treated subfloor, and more. It’s unclear if there are electrical or plumbing hookups on the tiny home, but if you’re able to, you can skip the extra costs with purchase and keep warm with space heaters inside and a patio heater on the front porch.

While the home is large enough to be used as an actual house, getaway cabin, or guest house, it can alternatively be used as a large private office, yoga or art studio, or even a personal library.
