Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise has just unlocked another major achievement.

Last year in December, the actor was honoured with the highest civilian award by the US Navy for his acts of heroism and boosting the recruitment of pilots in force.

After bagging such a respectable title, now the actor is being presented with another award by the British Film Institute.

The Top Gun: Maverick star will be rewarded with ‘BFI Fellowship’ for his acting career and his contributions as a producer to the UK film industry as he shot multiple films in different locations of the country.

The Mission: Impossible actor is over the moon over on latest achievement. He expressed his excitement by saying, “I am truly honoured by this acknowledgement.”

“I’ve been making films in the UK for over 40 years and have no plans to stop.

Cruise went on to say, “The UK is home to incredibly talented professionals – actors, directors, writers, and crews, as well as some of the most stunning locations in the world.

“I’m grateful for all the BFI has done to support UK filmmaking and this incredible art form we share”, the 62-year-old action star added.

Tom will be presented with honourable title on May 12 at the BFI Chair’s Dinner in London, reported RTE.
