Reports suggest that with this session she might be preparing for her role in Arjun Ustara where she will share the screen with Shahid Kapoor. While we wait for more updates, here’s how you can also perform a handstand just like Dimri.
Step 1: Before attempting a headstand, make sure to warm up your body, especially your neck, shoulders, arms, and core. Perform some stretches and movements.
Step 2: Get on a yoga mat and kneel on the mat. Place your forearms on the floor, with your elbows shoulder-width apart. Interlace your fingers and place the crown of your head on the floor.
Step 3: Lift your hips towards the ceiling, creating a V shape with your body.
Step 4: Engage your core muscles and start to push with your legs. Avoid putting too much weight on your head.
Step 5: Once steady, lift one leg using the core and leg muscles for control.
Step 6: Keep your core tight, your legs straight, and your gaze focused. Hold.
Step 7: To come out of the headstand, slowly lower one leg at a time back to the floor.
The key to performing a perfect headstand is to engage the core muscles rather than the head and the neck. Practice every day as it takes time to build strength and stability.
