Vittoria Ceretti Goes Topless on the 'Vile' April 2025 Cover of Vogue France

Vittoria Ceretti Goes Topless on the ‘Vile’ April 2025 Cover of Vogue France

You might not need to be reminded that Claire Thomson-Jonville is now heading up Vogue France, having replaced Eugénie Trochu (who served as editor from 2021 until late 2024). Thomson-Jonville continues to find her footing at the French fashion bible and has since welcomed Loli Bahia, Natasha Poly, and Addison Rae as cover stars. Up next on the cover of Vogue France is Vittoria Ceretti. No stranger to the cover of Vogue, the Italian beauty appears before the lens of photographer Carin Backoff. In the nonchalant and stripped-back cover photograph, the current face of Max Mara gazes down Backoff’s lens wearing nothing but a pair of Louis Vuitton tights as chosen for the occasion by Vogue France’s newly-appointed fashion and image director at large Alastair McKimm.

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:

“Vile,” instantly described audace upon checking out the cover.

“Who electrocuted her?” quipped forum member crmsn.

“Jesus! TRAGIC and CHEAP. What BAD taste!” exclaimed DK92.

Simera asked: “How could they do this to Vittoria?”

Yet not everyone was left so entirely underwhelmed. “Good cover, I think! I love the tights and the light blue/grey tone of the background. Only wish her hair were, at least, brushed,” noted Valentine27.

“I like how different it is from usual covers. It is executed poorly, though…” dieinytabis chimed in.

“I like the cover and the minimal approach. Vittoria Ceretti is beautiful,” admired MModa.
