Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet have have been showing the world just how serious their relationship has gotten all awards season long. The makeup and fashion mogul has been stepping out to support her man over the past few months as he has been up for major awards for his performance in A Complete Unknown. Their adorable PDA and glamorous couple coordination has consistently captured fans’ attention, which made Jenner’s absence from the 2025 SAG Awards last week all the more noticeable. It was quickly learned that she skipped amid the passing of her longtime friend and hairstylist Jesus Guerrero. Now, the tragic event has many wondering, will the Khy founder be at the 2025 Oscars this weekend?

According to a source who spoke to Entertainment Tonight, Jenner wants to be there by Chalamet’s side, though it will likely be a game-time decision.

“Kylie and Timothée are very in love, and their relationship is serious,” the insider explained. “Kylie is very proud of Timothée and has been happy to support him throughout this awards season. She’s hoping to attend the Oscars with Timothée. She admires how talented and hardworking he is.”

However, the source noted that Jenner is still grieving Guerrero’s death. “She is extremely distraught and heartbroken by Jesus’s passing and wants to do whatever she can to help,” the source said. “She is in touch with his family and wants to be there for them in any way she can.”

The reality TV star posted a heartfelt tribute to Guerrero on Instagram earlier this week, writing, “Jesus was more than my friend—he was a light in my life, a source of laughter, comfort, love, and unwavering support. I don’t know how I would have made it through the last almost decade without him by my side. He had a way of making even the heaviest days feel lighter.”

She continued: “Thank you, Jesus, for always being there for me, for lifting me up, for being my friend. The pain of losing you is just unbearable and i don’t know how to move forward without you but I know great grief is born only of great love. and I loved you so much. You were the best person, with a talent that was unmatched. a true artist. You inspired so many, and you always will.”

Jenner was “shocked and very upset” to learn about the news. She has pledged to do whatever she can to support his family, including financially, as they mourn.

“Jesus’ death hit her hard,” a source told People. “As upset as she feels, she knows it’s so much worse for his family. She doesn’t want them to stress about money. She’s taking care of expenses, including those associated with his funeral.”

Earlier today, Jenner posted a screenshot of a seven-hour phone call between her and her makeup artist Ariel Tejada, who was also good friends with Guerrero, as well. “Sleeping has been the hardest. I love you @makeupbyariel,” she wrote.

On a second slide, she posted an old video of herself and Guerrero dancing to the tune of Leon Bridges’s “River.”

It remains undetermined whether Jenner will be Chalamet’s plus-one on Hollywood’s Biggest Night, the 97th Academy Awards. The couple of nearly two years was last publicly seen together at the 2025 Berlin Film Festival on Valentine’s Day. Before then, they attended the BAFTA Awards and Golden Globes.
